Maybe I'm Alone

I think last weeks episode was a stinker. There were two revelations, Russoue and Jin. That was it, nothing effecting the storyline. I know the enivitible, it was a set-up episode, but it felt like season 3 wrapped up in an episode, the wheels were just spinning for this episode.

    At first I was going to totally disagree with you; but honestly I can't.

    Looking back on it, everything in this episode was pretty easily figured out. You knew it was Rosseau 5 minutes before she said her name, we knew it was Ben (yeah yeah, I said Claire's mom but dare to be different... and wrong subsequently), I personally knew it was Jin.

    side note, it was Ben, but everyone knew it was Ben. The obviousness of it kind of cheapened the reveal. Just like all of the crappy horror movies lately, throw cheap scares at you so you think it's a big scary movie, but without effective use of tension and buildup, it's shit.

    Back on topic, my wife Chelsea knew it was Rosseau 5 minutes ahead of time... and she's the kind of person who wouldn't catch on that Arnold was a machine in the first terminator. THAT's how bad the reveals were.

    Concur, I told this to Brandon when we talked that I was very "blah"ed. Does Chelsea know of this Terminator analogy?
